Google lets you quantify the searches made by the general public. The general public will I presume start searching google for more in depth articles when they become aware of a distortion within the financial markets.
Housing and sub-prime were the primary trend in google searches, which has now been surplanted by oil. The following chart displays the graphic. Quite how one might capitalise on this type of information is a point for conjecture…bottom of the housing, top in oil, or simply interesting but irrelevant?

Kat,
Have a play around with it.
Should you find anything interesting that you want to share, let me know.
I’m going to have a play with it myself.

Kat,
I haven’t yet had time to other than a very quick scan, read your site, but I shall.
The Black cat, resembles very closely one of my cats, Mr Romulus, which made me smile.

Duc,
You’re lucky to have cats! post a picture some time.
That whole blog is unreal (big pictures have a huge impact).
For some reason though the floods are mentioned a lot, there are very few pictures of the situation and the damage at mainstream sites, like CNN.

Kat,
Two Cats, Mr Romulus & Mr Remus.
Actually I have some quite good photo’s.
As to the flooding etc, scary.

Duc,
if it’s not too difficult, please email me your cats, both close-ups and roaming vast lands of NZ.
(I’m always looking for fresh “faces” to put on my desktop
)

Kat,
Ok, let me see what I can do on that score, all photo’s are stored on the wife’s Mac…difficult technology…and she’s in Norway atm.
